Hello we are newly moving to Dubai later this month and I am trying to arrange activities for my 3 year old ,which would be similar to the ones she was doing in the UK(easing the stress of moving hopefully). For some strange reason however all the classes my research revealed so far fall either on a weekend or would clash with my afternoon school run to collect my son. Anyone knows good swimming classes and ballet/gymnastics classes for 3year olds which take place during morning/ normal school hours please? Thank you so much.

Try Toptots in Gold & Diamond Park. http://www.toptotsuae.com They run a three year old program in the mornings.

Thank you so much for all the advice. She is September born and doesn't join her brother in NAS FS1 until Sep 2016. Unexpected year off as she would be in preschool in the UK from next month onwards. Hence looking for something fun yet educational to fill the mornings when it is just the 2 of us.?

Swimming and activities like that are mostly classed as afterschool activities, although I would say the majority of 3 year olds wouldn't have started school, they are mostly enrolled in nurseries at least part time.

That would be because most three year olds are already in school here in Dubai. It's hard to get places for FS2 if you haven't already enrolled in FS1 so your daughter will be one of the few not already attending big school or at the very least FS1 in a nursery. Having said that, you might try Swimtime in Al Quoz - they might be able to arrange a private class for your daughter.
