Latitude is fantastic food and if you sit outside you have a slight view of the Burj al Arab. Beachcombers is on the beach by the sea, with the Burj Al Arab directly in front of you, but the food not nearly as good as at Latitude, in my experience, which wasn't a Friday brunch. Why not go to Latitude and take a stroll down to the beach afterwards?

Thanks for the reviews. Guess it will depend on other diners on the day but at least we will get the wow factor for them at beachcombers Food is Thai/Far Eastern and the puds are good too :-)

Have you tried Certo at the Radisson Blu in Media City? It is called a lazy brunch..you get served loads and loads of delicious little courses and its about 200 dhs with sparkling wine. Oh its Italian :D Best Italian in Dubai in my opinion even if other restaurants are more famous.

I went to Beachcombers a few weeks back and it wasnt overun with children. We sat outside and the weather/view was perfect I find the service at Latitude shocking and considering the cost it took them 45 minutes to bring me a drink :-) View at Beachcombers is much better in my opinion, right on the beach with a view of the Burj Al Arab Latitude lots of greenery and the kiddies pool. Still nice but not as nice as BC

Our visitor is celebrating his 60th birthday next friday and we want a reasonably priced brunch at the MoE end of town. Has anyone been to Beachcombers lately? Dont want to be overrun by kids. Is Latitude better food. Which has the better view? We've done atlantis and madinat. Would appreciate any other suggestions/recent reviews. TIA
