I need to find a school for January or next year. I am on wait list on all these schools but worried about the academic level and would prefer to wait than select the wrong school. I am not too concerned by the facilities but would expect the best academic level possible. Although I understand Dubai level of education might not be compared to some good European schools, I still hope that the children could join a good school if they move back to Europe or the US.
Many many thanks for all your comments.

Has Wellington International had a change of curriculum? According to their website they offer the National Curriculum of England and the IB Diploma programme in years 12 and 13.

DGIT I think that all of these schools follow a curriculum that is based on the British Curriculum, certainly at Primary level.

Oh my - you are opening a big old can of subjective worms with this question! You might find that you have very little choice in the end because you will remain waitlisted and have to settle for wherever you can get places. Do you know where you are on the lists? LOL! I was going to say that as well!! I thought all these schools had waiting lists until 2050? :D
