Given all the negative experiences of landlords that seem to be reported I thought I would share our lovely experience to restore a little faith! We absolutely love our house and have been in there a year now and so were anxious to renew on very favourable terms. The landlord came to see us yesterday with his wife in order to do all the necessary. They were a delight to deal with and have been very fair indeed. Not only that but after much chatting we got onto the subject of food (we are both real foodies) and so today they she has cooked us a beautiful dish and sent it to us to enjoy!

I think I am on of the very few lucky ones to have had such a positive experience! :)

We have been extremely lucky with the 3 landlords we've had since moving here. At present, our landlord on the Palm Shoreline is fab - has paid all his service charges and pays the Palm Utilities every month. We reimburse him our share every 3 months. Anything that has needed doing, we get done and then he pays us back within a month (he's overseas). Cannot fault him or the apartment - that's why, even with all the cr*p happening on the Shoreline, we're staying! :)

So happy to see so many nice landlords are about. Such a shame Ive had to deal with (once and nice LL) to quite a nasty one. Hope I find a really lovely LL when I move shortly.

Our landlord too is wonderful. He's a lovely man. He lets us get on with what needs to be done, we give him the bill and he pays. He even takes us out dinner every year as a thank you. Unfortunately we will now be moving but that's due to space and he was major consideration for us. You hear such horror stories.

I have a nice landlord aswell. When our AC breaks, we just email him and the guys turn up the same day and fixes it for us at no cost to us. He also does what he says he is going to do. That is why we have stayed in the same villa for 3 years now. :)
