Nippy, I think there must be many women here who have found this story absolutely harrowing and who read your post in tears. But my oh my oh my to have been a fly on the wall when you told him where you were :D

wow Nippy you are such a brave strong woman. You are already climbing back out of the hole that this waste of space of a man has put you in.
I wish you and your two DSs all the very best.
nippy, thankfully you made it out ok. For some, the kids are not allowed to leave, some men (and women I suppose) can be whacky.
For everyone else, please have your own funds available to you should anything happen like this, a divorce or a death (frozen funds) can all leave you shocked and unable to think straight, never mind finding cash.
Sorry, Admin I didn't mean to put something in my other post for it to be deleted. I was just wanted to say thank you to some helpful people. Please leave my post on for others...... please.....
Claire thank you for your kind words, me and my boys, who are 3 years and 11 years are living in Stratford Upon Avon at present, I will be moving to Southampton in the New Year, to start a new life, in a new place, scary but I just need to get away. I'm not sure how we will survive or what will happen but I have my boys with me which will make me carry on.
My last week in Dubai, was very hard for us, my son finishing school, my little one going to nursery, it was very emotional, I must admit I spent a lot of time in tears, but with this court date looming, I just had to go as quickly as possible in the end, the worst time was saying goodbye to my dear friends...
Thank you so much ladies, you are all very kind with all your nice words and support, which will always be carried with me on my new journey....
Nippy xxxx
Nippy I cannot believe you did so much in such a short space of time. It sounds like you kept yourself together and acted with dignity, good for you. I really wish you comfort during this time and will pray for provision in every respect for you and your children. That you sound so together after this just happened really is amazing; sure you don't feel that way, but thank you for your story; it certainly is an inspiration to me!
What a sad story. You are a very strong woman by the sound of things though, even if you don't feel it? I really wish you and your boys well and truly hope that things will improve for you. Lots of good fortune and happiness in 2013 xxx
Hi Nippy, I feel very sad for you and your children. I hope this is a blessing in disguise and you will be much happier soon. At least now you are in your own country where you know better the rules and thus can fight better. Good luck.
I think that any woman who raises her children should ensure that she has her own bank account with enough savings in case. My mother is a housewife and my father has always ensured that she owns half of all his belongings. He used to say that he doesn't trust anybody including himself and that's the reason he has done this.
Nippy, I wish you the very best of luck.
I read a brief synopsis of your post to DH and his words were "What a coward". He's right your husband is a coward and I hope karma bites him on the ass.
Nippy, you handled this so well. You are an inspiration to us all. I will be sure to donate money to the organization that assisted you. You never know which one of us could be next!
