He is 6ft 3 but for some reason his head was hitting the top in the passenger seat lol! Maybe some adjustments needed done to the seat if your husband is taller! To be honest, he had his heart set on an Armada, I would have been happy with either but he is so excited as it's the car he really wanted.
Enjoy it... :)

You couldn't go wrong with either, and am sure you will be fine driving it. Out of interest just how tall is your dh..... I thought mine was tall as 6ft 7"!
Hi ladies,
Thanks for all your help. We went to the garage last night and have reserved an Armada. I think it's the right decision, poor DH is quite tall and his head was almost touching the roof in the Pathfinder, he didn't look right in it! I'm looking forward to getting it now and with the help of the front, rear sensors and the camera I'm sure I will get the hang of the parking, thanks!!x
I drove an Armada while we lived in Bahrain and I absolutely loved, loved, loved my truck :) The only reason we didn't buy one here again is the fact that it needs servicing every 5000km (as apparently all Nissans do?)....and that would mean that I had to take it in to the garage every 2,5 months :\:
Not sure if it still needs to have service every 5000km though, as that was a good 5 yrs ago....
Just want to add my 2 cents. We have an Armada and love love love it. We've fit 4 car seats and 4 adults in there (and no one was that small) with no problems, plus 2 strollers in the back and bags, etc. It's true that it's not easy always to park, but you get the hang of it. One thing I always do is park on an end (so I can always get to one side for the car seats) - even if I have to walk a bit further. We also bought a used one that had a rear camera installed. That is the best thing EVER. Sometimes you think that you can't go further, but you can (and in a tank like that, every inch counts in a tight parking area). You'd get used to the size and with the rear camera, parking would be much easier.
Thank you girls. I'm still really swaying but just thinking I might feel more comfortable in the Pathfinder for parking. I'm still not a confident driver here in Dubai yet so maybe it's more suited for me. What to do,what to do!!!!
I really wanted the Armada, but when I got in it, it was too big for me. So we went for a top of the range Pathfinder and had parking sensors fitted as an extra, wasn't that expensive. We are a family of 3, so unless we have visitors very rarely need the 3rd row. And to be fair, it is only suitable for kids or a small adult if a short trip.
A/C is fab all over the vehicle, has been really reliable, never had a problem. We brought new as were cautious of second hand 4x4's and didn't want any hassle. Saying that at the time it was impossible to find a newish second hand one. I understand resale values are very good.
I will look again at the Armada in another year or so when replacing the pathfinder, but I would be happy with either, just a bit more in my comfort zone with the PF due to the size.
we went agaist Pathfinder because it didnt have enough gadgets for the money and the upholstry on the basic model was awful ! beige .. not good when you have a child who enjoys chocolate milk !
Dont worry about parking .... just take your time and ignore the impateint lot that will honk at you .... !
Thanks, that's good advice. The 3rd row will just be for when visitors are over. I do really like the Armada I suppose it would be a matter of getting used to the size. The Pathfinder doesn't have parking sensors even in the top of the range which is annoying!!!
As we are thinking of buying a new car, do the Armada and Pathfinders have good resale value?
How frequently do you think you need the 3rd for visitors etc.?
If you need it now and then, go for the Armada, the 3rd row is much better than the cramped 3rd row in the Pathfinder.
The pathfinder is very capable but the Armada has more road presence and judging by the prehistoric mindsets of some drivers, will earn you more "respect" (i.e. less cutting off, less flashing ) as your Armada will be among the largest cars on the road, while many SUVs are same size or larger than the Pathfinder .
All Nissan cars/SUVs i have been have had great ACs so dont think AC will be a difference between the 2

Hi Ladies,
Just about to buy a car and struggling to make our minds up between the Nissan Armada and Nissan Pathfinder. DH loves the Armada, I feel it's a bit too big especially for parking etc. We have 2 little ones so we want great a/c in the back and safety is the most important factor. I feel the Pathfinder might be a bit easier for me to drive as it's not too big. Any thoughts from Armada/Pathfinder users? so 50/50 here!! Also do you think it's best to buy new or a few years old? thanks!x
