SHE'S BACK!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much to everyone for helping to find her with all your suggestions and ideas. We had 2 calls today saying they thought she had been seen in the street we live. So, we have been up and down shaking the cat biscuits but nothing. My husband said he would go out one more time and walked quite a way only to find her sitting at the end of our road! She's absolutely fine - is tucking into a nice big bowl of fish and is purring her head off!!!!! I am officially the happiest person in Dubai!

Hi Clairehdp, I have only just seen your thread as I haven't been on in a while. You poor thing - I have had a cat go missing and it is devastating. Did you follow up further on the food delivery the night she went missing? Was the guy on a motorbike or in a van? Did you go down to where the take away shop is located to see if maybe she jumped in the van and got transported there? Also did you check the areas where the guy did deliveries after your house? My cat got taken away in vans a number of times by accident.... Also make sure you check under all bushes and areas that are shielded around your area. If she got sick often cats hide themselves away under things. Have you also checked the wheelie bins of your neighbours? Perhaps somebody left their bin open and she jumped in? Also on the roof of all buildings in the area - she may have got up on somebody's roof or balcony and not been able to jump down. Also ask your neighbours to check around their workplaces - I found a cat at my work a couple of months ago who had hitchhiked under the chassis of one of my colleagues cars. Trying to rack my brains to think of where else to look...... Good luck and keep us posted. XXX

Claire, does the Golf Club have a picture of her anywhere...do the grounds crew know what she looks like? golfers...is there anywhere near the kitchen she could be hiding....is the kitchen staff feeding cats at all? if she was seen, others have seen her. Have you done 7 days??? Hi SueB - yes - went to the golf club last week and handed out leaflets. Spoke to the manager and he took some for the ground staff. We have been all around and my DH spoke to the guys in the kitchen in case they've been feeding her but they've not seen here - left more leaflets there last night and loitered in the car park for quite a while later when it was quiet. Thing is - I've found 2 cats who look very much like her in the week she's gone so there are others like her but.....if someone calls me I am in that car like a mad woman to see if it's my Millie.....so far it's not been her but I'm not ready to give up on her..... Every time I go to the golf club I give the guys in the buggies a leaflet so they are keeping their eyes peeled for me.......

She is very pretty! I have the feeling that somebody is keeping her in the neighbourhood. Ask the maids around your compound and mention that you are offering a reward; they normally know what is going on. Good luck!

Yeah that's what I'm thinking now......they are sometimes called teddy bear cats as they are sooo affectionate. She purrs as soon as you stroke her and was happy to curl up with you and purr her head off. I just hope if someone has her that they feel guilty and do phone me as she had my number on her collar and if her collar has come off I hope they take her to a vet for them to scan so the vet can reunite us.
