Did you put a post on the feline friends facebook page? I know it seems hopeless but my cat went missing for 2 months. Someone found him, I brought him home he stayed a week disappeared for 3 weeks, came home for 4 days then disappeared for 2 weeks. He walked through the door a month a go and hasn't left since. As Kylie says they're much tougher than we think. Fingers crossed for you. I've been in touch with FF and have sent them a picture - they've checked the database and she's not yet.... come through them...... Just back from walking around with the cat biscuits with the kids calling for her - nothing...... She's on Dublzzle too with a picture...... oh I am just running out of ways to find her.....Would be sooooo excited if she just strolled back. Kids are now talking about fostering kittens/cats/puppies/dogs - the house is so strange without a pet.....

If anyone has seen her please let me know - even if it's not good news - it's the not knowing where she is or what has happened to her that is the killer.....

i know it is a really tough time when they go missing - however they are tougher than we give them credit for normally - Trish's Ruffie survived a good 6 weeks out on the streets, i have one who has done 2 week stints awol a few times. do you have posters in multiple languages with the big REWARD clearly posted? i always receive tons of help with this approach! we can help with Sinhalese here... but the advice to look close is good - look even behind the toilets (i kid you not, i had 2 kittens who were so scared they found a way to get in to the cavity at the back). encourage the neighbours to look again, particularly in their sheds etc especially if they have a dog (she may be too scared to come out maybe?). most of all, don't give up, they are tough and do show up once you have lost all reason. x

Sending a cyber hug to you. If I lived anywhere near AR I would be up and down the streets for you. When I was a teenager, my cat went missing for a week in the UK, he had ran into a house and was locked in as the owners went on holiday. He was spotted in the bedroom window one day by a little boy who lived opposite and had seen our advert in the newsagents. Are there any villas that are empty, or people have gone away, do you have letter boxes you could shout through and leave food and ice cubes for hydration. x

what news today Chdp, how are things? xxx Nothing Miss B - feeling very sad about it all - just wish I could open the door and in she walks. Have been to the Municipality vets near Mushrif Park today and they were sooooo nice....... she's not there but they've taken my pictures and all my details and I've already filed a missing cat report. They tell me that if and when a cat like Millie comes in they are scanned immediately and they try to reunite asap. they also confirmed that they DO NOT put pedigree cats down. It';s the diseased sick cats that they put down in the 2/3 day holding time. The men I spoke to were clearly animal lovers and assured me they would look out for her and would call me.......i just hope that if someone finds her they take her to a vets or there for scanning and we can be reunited.......

Have you opened all the cupboards under the basins?-ours adtually have a very small gap into the wall cavity where a cat can slip in but found it nearly impossible to reverse and get out again-as we found out the hard way-keeping everything crossed for you <em>edited by wuffles on 02/02/2011</em>

I can e mail you a photo if you leave your e mail address. I called into the community security office today (didn't know there was one) and met with the Security manager and he took some of my leaflets and was going to give them to his security team - he said they would all be out on their bikes today in all areas and would call me if they found her..... so far not a squeek..... A friend has tweeted and been in touch with Channel 4 - Catboy put a shout out for me on the radio - I'm just running out of ideas. At least it's not hot so if she is still alive and hiding she'll be cool...... Kids are realising that maybe we won't see her again and are really upset.....husband is away - life could be better!..... Still hoping for a pathetic little mieow - would make my day!

borrow a baby monitor. Put a bowl of food out and the monitor close by turned high. keep the other in bed with you. I know you have but..did you recheck your hard on hands and knees, under, over, little hole she could not possibly slip through...recheck the house, laundry basket, every room drawer, back of cupboard, in the oddest places, in your car? in the garage, in a box that she might have found refuge but bot stuck at the bottom? I love the baby monitor idea. I put food down and we heard a pathetic mieow this evening so we all dashed to the door only to find a very noisy cat from up the road who was polishing it off!! I keep checking everywhere and will do the same tomorrow. Thanks sue x

have you knocked on your neighbours doors again and have them double check? asked the kids in the neighbourhood? how about asking the school bus driver to put up a poster on the bus and all the buses in the area? I wonder if they would do that?......you would probably have to approach each bus yourself, or know of kids who take the various buses and announce it when they are on? Yes - both me and my DH have been there and today the other neighbour came over and she was going to recheck everywhere...... Every single villa where we are has had a leaflet with picture. I've had 2 calls but after dashing off and checking the area - still not found her. I have posters up at Jess on AR and at Repton (loads of kids from AR go to school there too). I don't see school buses - I've given leaflets to the gardeners, pool guys, security guards......my head is hurting from thinking of what else I can do..... off out for another night shout out...... thanks so much for your constant ideas SueB - I really do appreciate it.

Thanks - I'm trying to keep positive but I'm feeling wobbly about it all tonight...... will pick myself up and get out there again later as soon as kids are tucked up in bed and I've fed our guests...... would just love, love, love for her to come home as if nothing was wrong.....
