I cooked this dish years ago and can't remember the recipe or the name - any ideas.

Basically you slice peppers and saute with onions and a littel garlic, add some chopped skinned tomatoes and simmer for a while then crack in some eggs and let them poach in the juice....

Sounds like shakshouka, which is super tasty! Breakfast buffet at Mazina has it. I think it`s a traditional Jewish dish or something like that...

There is a recipe in the BBC book 101 low fat feasts that looks similar, it's called pepper and egg saute

i tried it yesterday (thanks to the million peppers in the box at ripe) and it's good but not as good as i remember - think it had lots of coriander leaves too but not sure.... But what's it called?
