I carry aspirin with me in my [strike'>overflowing suitcase [/strike'> handbag for this eventuality, but I'm not sure if it works. It just feels better to have it!

Do you mean taking an aspirin?. This is commonly used at the onset of a suspected heart attack to prevent a clot 325mg one and it is supposed to be chewed as it gets into the body quicker Notroglycerin spray is primarily used for angina ( my Grandma used the spray)

Are you talking about Nitrate? It's a slim film-like medicine that you slip under your tongue for faster absorption prescribed for angina and heart attacks. It's not over-the-counter though so ask your doctor first. It opens up the blood vessels (vasodilation) for oxygenation of the body through blood.
