There are police in western society that do use them When I worked in law enforcement we did look for a body based on the word of a psychic. Dug a big hole, I mean a really big hole, and found nothing. No big surprise to me. But sometimes you don't know if the person is psychic or has real and relevant information on a crime, so you have to follow up regardless.

I was up most of the night thinking about my children. even though I dont know the family it is just a horrible feeling. a small part of me was hesitent to post with such minimal information and not even beinbg in contact with the family. I know it is a very gutwrenching scenerio. But i thought even with such vague info that maybe , just maybe someone may see him or something that made them feel uncomfortable enough to do a double take. the hassle of being mistaken is worth it if it saves a child. I also wanted to put it out there as every minute is crucial in every case of a missing child. just hoping for the best and this is a huge reminder that we should never let our gaurd down and we dont live in a bubble sheltered from the evils in the world

This thread has had me in a spin all morning as, I am sure it has with many others! It really does play on our worst fears. I pray that the little boy is safe and well and has been found. This will serve as a reminder to me that stranger danger is of huge importance to my children and the 'safe' feeling I have living here in DXB can at any moment be shattered. Hoping we get a good news update very soon.

Fair enough JJ. Sorry... My responses are slow as dealing with ratty DS. I totally agree with you in letting the police do what they need to do. But I felt "crystals" could maybe help as like I say, I've been blown away with what she has told me this week regarding a few things. She's a mther herself and like a previous poster said. It's a motets instinc to want to get involved and help in situations like these.
