Another one here adding my support and wishes for a good outcome - I agree that it may not be best to have groups out searching in case it gets in the way of the police (who, by the way, I do think have some excellent talent who will pull out all the stops to find him). I will however be in the area today and will obviously keep my eyes peeled.

She posted on her a few days ago about using her talents to help owners find their lost animals!?! If u can get a pucture of the boy to her she may be able to help. If this child is still missing the media should be asked to broadcast it immediately, it needs to be brought to the attention of as many people as possible,not just those in the local area. Definitely, he may have wandered off and posting his picture may assist the police if someone has seen him by chance

All gone Miss B. I agree with JJ, it may not be wise to arrange unsupervised search parties as it could cause problems for the police. However, I think the offer of a reward to the workers for any information regarding the boys whereabouts is a really good idea.

I hope we hear good news soon. In the meantime.. Do you know anybody who speaks the language of local workers? They are an important resource. Offer a huge financial reward and spread the word amongst gardeners, workmen, labourers. Put posters up EVERYWHERE with the cash reward advertised. Set up a hotline. If this boy was targeted and didn't just wonder off, these people move quickly. What is the facebook link? I must have missed it. I'll also post this on DLL. This should be left to the police, they will be pulling all stops out should the child be still missing and using their professional resources and knowledge. Lets hope the child has been found safe and well, as no update its sit and wait to find out the result.

for my own reference (and I know it's tasteless to ask on this this thread) but is this a place where I have to watch my child play in the front yard? if it's fully enclosed and the gates are locked, then yes, but otherwise it's always worth keeping an eye out. People are generally friendly but children aren't brought up to not talk to stranger or accept sweets from them. There's also the ever-present danger of mad drivers going way too fast down residential roads. I hope the little boy has just wandered off and got a bit lost and that he'll be safely home very shortly.
