Hi,

We are in the process of buying our first home in dxb so we are considering affordable family area within our humble budget.

We saw queue point by mazaya holdings, its a part of dubailand development. Anyone has any input on if its a decent/good place to invest in...any words of caution/encouragment?.

Thanks

May I know if you got a flat there in the end? I check a couple of flats there and some of the buildings are having structure issues and even need to vacate the residents

I looked at Queue point a while ago and loved the interior space of the flat, but didn't like that there is no shops under any buildings (and never will be), and there's no pool or gym, and the military base is right next door.

Read some reviews about villas on Dubai flatreviews, you can check there according to date and see what people are saying about specifics, such as maintenance companies, structural integrity of buildings, etc...hope it helps make your decision. I am an owner and it is very hard to tell in today's market if it is a good investment or not to buy, it's very up and down at the moment. We can only hope in the years to come it was worth it. Get in touch with the Urban Planning Dept. of Dubai Municipality who could give you some information about any planned projects for that specific area.

Hi, I'm in the same boat, looking for an affordable place to buy. Queue Point, i have heard good and bad things, let me know what you decide. Would you be able to recommend any good responsive estate agents. Whilst I was there in Dubai, all the agents I connected with went radio silent! Any help welcome.

Has anyone actually purchased a property in Queue Point?. I'd like to know from an investment perspective, how promising it looks in the coming few years. I know that It has its limitations due to the fact that there is no development around the community yet but its expected to come up and like someone said above that silicon oasis is barely steps away from there but the size and finish of the apartment is so much better than what I've seen in places like remraam and jvc that I'm wondering how nice it would be once it develops. Any owners who'd like to comment please?:)

Hi, Queue point is still off plan, I would advise against it, it's not close to metro, any amenities, there are no facilities around it, it takes 20 minutes to downtown/ DXB aiport, I would recommend buying in Furjan next to Disco Gardens you can buy a 2 B/R appt for 1.3 million its less than a year old. hope this helps. Many of the buildings are actually completed now - lots of people living there. Have friends there and they seem to like it. Sky Courts close by has a small supermarket and they were developing a shopping complex in The Villa, which is also close by - not sure how far they got with that though There's a Spinney's and Costa that I know of in The Villa, but the shops at Silicon Oasis aren't that far away, neither is MCC. It takes me 15 minutes (on a good run :) ) down the 66 from the junction with Emirates Road to DIFC, haven't tried the Airport Run yet.
