Agents here are not qualified enough to act as advisors to the landlords. Some Landlords ask crazy prices then wonder why their properties sit empty for months on end. It's up the agents to guide them. And BTW, when is Dubai going align with the rest of the world and make the landlord pay the commission, not the renter!
Agents pushing up the prices ! we have one listed for 190 and its not leasing - been empty for 6 weeks !
215 must be upgraded _ with full sea view of the Burj al arab !!!!!!!! _ they re having a laff !

Lol, or their own private beach...
You have one of your own that you're looking to rent out? why don't you two tie up :)
thank you ladies..i saw the ones advertised in dubizzle, it is so confusing with all the different prices. One thing is for sure, agents often ask crazy rents (or is it the landlords??)
Thanks again

depends on the springs... 165 back to back 175 - 180 lake /park view
no highway no roads etc .. 185 max
185 is the max you'd pay or the max they're going for? because it seems there's a few advertised for 190-215k.

175k
Basically they're all different prices, you can probably try to knock off 5k from most properties, but I don't think there's much room for movement. Definitely worth a try though, although it depends how mad you want the house too as in some cases you'll just have to walk away.
average is 175-180k
Easy to find them, just put 1M in the dubizzle search, and then a new search with 1E
thanks stilladviceseeker...that is a big range...the one I saw is advertised at 190k. Where should I start to negotiate the rent down? Thanks a lot
Well, I saw one advertised for 150'000 and one for 190'000, its hard to say whether or not you'll be able to negotiate as it seems these villas are in high demand and don't stay on the market long.
