I want to send a package to a friend in the Uk and would like to add a bag from Karama. Do you think this will be a problem? My friend could really do with a treat and I know she would love this.

Please don't judge me for going there in the first place. There are plenty of threads discussing that and I've decided that the occasional trip to Karama is my vice :D

Thanks Natalie8 for your kind offer. I haven't bought it yet and don't have time to go before your flight, so won't be taking you up on your offer. Enjoy your trip to London! Very jealous!!!!!

Hi muurtje. I'm flying to London this Saturday morning. Yay!!!!!!! If you like, we could meet up sometime tonight or tomorrow and I could pack it in my suitcase. I'm not bringing much because I'm going to do all my winter shopping there. :-D **e-mail address removed** edited by natalie8 on 29/09/2011

I won't pick on you about the Karama thing (i was there on Monday!)...I wouldn't post it though (I know from experience that customs do open stuff as I was charged 95 pounds on something quite recently although i appealed and it was refunded). Better to get someone to take it back then post it.

It could be a problem if they check it and find its a knock off, counterfeit goods are illegal to import into the UK http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/banned-restricted.htm

My suggestion would be to ask a friend who is travelling back to post it within the UK, I have done this before!
