According to the labor law it's a 3 day holiday,

I think we will have to wait and see as nothing as been announced as of yet My calendar which usually proves right says 2 days as I don't think we received Arafat day off last year

Definitely 3! Government employees get 4.. it's a 4-day holiday in Islam (Eid al Adha + the 3 following days, which is why it's called the Eid al Kabeer) great, thanks....i really need it too Holidays are not announced until much later and depending on the day it starts days off will vary. So nobody can really say for sure. If you really need a certain amount of days off I would take the days out annual leave and not wait for any announcements.

A guessing game as always, but I'm expecting Tuesday (Arafat Day), Wednesday and Thursday (EID) for the private sector. so maybe 3 then....with any luck..
