Anyone else read this? I read it in one sitting as I found it really engrossing but was a little disappointed with the 'twist'. I'm interested to know other people's thoughts!

I enjoyed Afterwards more than Sister, but both were good. Ditto.

I have read this and I really loved it! My heart absolutely sunk at the 'twist', I literally felt it sink into my shoes. It is great when a story can evoke such emotion because it was so unexpected and it made it brilliant. I couldn't put it down and would definitely recommend it. I didn't know she had a new book out so hopefully the kindle version is available. I was actually relieved at the twist as i prior to that i thought she was terminally ill with somethign - and at least with the twist there was teh chance that she could be rescued / survive / escape if that makes sense. It gave me hope that in the end it would be alright.

It's on my list as a friend had recommended it to me. Must have been good if you read it all in one go! Apparently her new one, [i'>Afterwards [/i'>(?) is meant to be even better. edited by Simone N on 19/06/2011
