There could be many causes, including hormone imbalances, pregnancy, cysts, or the dreaded C word. You should get yourself to a doctor immediately and have some tests done, like a blood test for hormones, a mammogram and an ultrasound. Good luck.
there is really no need to scare the woman to death! Think before you write stuff like that!
To the op....probably water retention from your last period. in this weather your body can retain more water as it is trying to keep you hydrated. try drinking more.
I get that too and had a mammogram and ultrasound last week .. all clear ... but I have found that "evening primrose" a herbal med, helps, but still go see a Dr just to be on the safe side, but this is common, dont panic.
you stressed at all? That can sometimes cause pain.
Have you slept on your stomach lately?
Have you done any exercising or strenuous activity using your back or arms?
Wow, really? You don't think it will go away? It's in both breasts so I don't think it's cancer or a cyst and I don't feel any lumps or things like that.
Will see the doctor if it doesn't go away in a few more days.

Please tell me there are other reasons for having sore breasts then being pregnant?
For the past week or so my breasts are very sore and feel very heavy (more so then usual). Taking of my bra in the evening is very uncomfortable I've just had my period so fairly certain I'm not pregnant. Haven't changed my birth control or anything like that. I'm going to pick up a pregnancy test later today just to check... but was wondering if there are any other causes. Have any of you ladies experienced this?
