In my continuing (and thus far unsuccessful) attempt to send my niece to beauty school, has anyone heard of the Steiner institute? I've heard it's good but the phone and website aren't working? Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Isn't there some sort of beauty school at Wafi, I think it is run by Cleopatras. I think the Steiner beauty institute is it. But the website and phone numbers aren't working. They closed down two years ago. Thought so, they go through phases of opening for a couple of years and then closing again. Shame really as a lot of teenagers could do with the option.

I think they may have closed down again. The hairdressing school has. If you call the cleopatra spa they usually have details. Momentum do Creative Nail Design courses that are internationally recognized, they have everything from basic manicures/pedicures to extensions.

I think it is called the Steiner and Cleopatra Beauty Institute, located on the first floor of the Wafi residence building. It is situated in the furthest corner from Axa Insurance company. It used to be highly recommended and the courses were supposed to be recognised internationally. I used to go and be the one of the volunteer clients for the students to practise their massage on. What bliss. Try telephoning the Wafi residence reception and ask if the numbers for the institute have changed.
