Toddler niece visiting - can I borrow a car seat?

I have family coming over including my 2.5 year old niece. I was hoping a generous EW lady would be kind enough to lend me a spare car seat for a month. I promise to return it in pristine condition (along with a token of my gratitude of course!)

I have looked at rent-a-crib but given their rates, it's cheaper to buy one! The problem is what would I do with it afterwards since I have no kids?

Thanks.

I'm away from this afternoon until at least early September so it's yours as long as you need it. DH will be here, though, so just leave a post for me on here and I'll pass on his contact details :).

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone and DC and Moustique for your kind offer. They are actually visiting from July 7th. I did consider getting the bubblebum as they could take that back with them and use it later when she outgrew her carseat at home but wasn't sure if she would be too young. She is tall for her age so could pass for 3, so I'm reassured by Chocolate Chick's suggestion. Might just go and get that. Is there somplace you can try it out or speak to a sales staff? If not, I'll be contacting you very soon DC. As for rentacrib.ae - As my original post mentions, I looked it up but it's cheaper to buy one than rent it for AED120/week for 4 weeks! Thought of dubizzle as well but searching and double-checking if the seat had been in an accident etc would be too much hassle (plus short on time!). Thanks all!

How big is she? I have one you're welcome to borrow but I got it when my niece was here and she's 4, so a bit bigger. We live in Al Waha villas and you're welcome to pop round and take a look if you think it'll do.

Another vote for rent a crib here. I've used them several times for visiting young visitors and they offer a brilliant service.

There's always the Bumblebum option, if the 2.5 year old is big enough? We used our in Oz earlier this year for our little one who was just short of the 3 http://www.facebook.com/bubblebum.middleeast?v=info

When are they coming? Leaving for our holiday on the 24th so you could borrow ours from then if you wanted.

If no one has a car seat to lend you Mothercare is having a sale on their car seats at the mo. You could always sell it again on Dubizzle.
