Yes I'm interested, always fun to make thoses orchid flowering again, they just need a lot of care and love :-).
well, if you still want to save the plant then keep it for a while but if you really want to throw, then throw in my hands :-). my email is newindbxatgmaildotcom
Hi,
spay of water on the root 1/week, keep the orchid away from the direct sun. If you have some wine cork, cut them into small pieces, spread the cork under and on the root to keep the humidity for the orchid. Add fertilizer &/month. that's all you have to do. good luck :-)
just in case only :-), if any of your orchid turn really bad don't throw them, just give it to me :-).

Tia, I have one that's lost all it's flowers. Flowered beautifully for 3 months. About to bin it even though it's heart wrenching. Would you be interested in it?
If Paris6 is not, I would be interested to take it off your hand :)

My most beautiful ones live up on the 3rd floor where we never go and the aircon is never on... they love it there in the summer... hot and humid. As soon as I bring them downstairs to enjoy their beauty they start to lose their flowers, they don't like aircon.

Orchids get their nutrients and water from the air, so they need to be hung in baskets/ kept off the ground, that allow their roots to go through. Other than that a humid environment and some occasional fertilizer is all that they need in terms of care. My mum uses coconut husk and red brick pieces to keep moisture in. She also says there needs to be temperature differences for orchids to flower? Not sure about that. Best of luck
The ones I've had seemed to thrive on neglect, their roots need air so don't pot them in soil, bark is good, and a spray of water every couple of days is all I did, with some soluble fertilizer added to it now and again.
.....that has just been delivered to me as a pressie. Aren't I lucky!
But my heart is in my boots as I have killed them everytime and this one looks very expensive and is absolutely beautiful.
How do I look after it? Has anyone had better success than me? Any tips?
TIA
