We live in Casablanca and have done for nearly 3 years. Good size and nice community feel, certainly on our compound (there are 4). Internal road is great for kids to ride their bikes etc in safety. Haven't had lots of maintenance issues and they have dealt with what we have had albeit in the usual botched repairs. Outside of properties lots of peeling paint but this is Dubai! Pool currently well maintained. Would recommend you have a look and see if they suit your requirements. The design/internal layout of the villas differs from one compound to the next so you may want to check out what's available and see what works for you best. I have seen them advetised for 180k but there may be more room to negoitaite this is for 4 bed plus maids and 2 lounges (one upstairs) but there are a few 3 beds. Hope this helps. Barsha blonde - can you plz rough cost of DEWA on casablanca compound? You have to pay pool maintenence in Casablanca - isn't it a central pool? What are the average A/c costs if you know? Any idea how flexible they are - they are saying 180 for a 4 bed - can you negotiate? Any info appreciated. Thanks Nixxie

I live there...No stalkers please!!! I live near Roots, and there are only a few in a row. Nice huge villas but be careful A/C costs and pool maintinance!! Great place to live, close to everything you could need! No villas near by with to rent signs on, only API, but dont know anything about them so wouldnt like to comment.
