I stayed at Six Senses in HH! It's fabulous, we had a very private pool villa. It's very much a chill-out away from it all kind of place, and isnt close enough to HH to be going there each evening for meals etc.........but we just loved staying in the resort intself. The drive from the airport was rather long and boring though, about 4 hours. Koh Samui is fab, you can either have the busy nightlife of Chaweng or choose somewhere quieter, best to check Trip Advisor for recommendations. KS is about an hour's flight from Bangkok.

I've been to both - Koh Samui once and Hua Hin loads of times. I love Hua Hin - it is much quieter than other 'tourist' towns and it is easy to get to from BKK. Good markets too. I haven't stayed at 'Six Senses' though - it sounds lovely though. Last time I was there (in late August) I rented an apartment. There is a winery in Hua Hin now - I was intending to get to it on the last visit but ran out of time. You can tour the vineyard on an elephant too which is novel!

Hello, has anyone been to Hua Hin or koh Samui? My Husband and I are thinking about going to Bangkok for a few days end of November, beginning of December, then on to Hua Hin or Koh Samui for a few days. Anyone stayed or heard anything about 'Six Senses' in Hua Hin. Recommodations and advise would be appreciated! Thanks :)
