Where can I get ready-made extra-long curtains?

Our windows are a 2m30cm drop and all the ready-mades I've found have been 2m18cm or thereabouts. Does anywhere do extra-long ones? I'm just after plain off-white.

Just looked on the IKEA website and it seems that most of their 3m curtains are 145cm wide, so that's probably what mine are too. The cream ones therefore will be 290cm for each curtain (as I said, our windows were massive). Anyway - if you want to look at them drop me a line

I don't know the width I'm afraid, but I do remember that we had 2 curtains sewn together for the cream ones (also for our DS bedroom), so each curtain is 2 panels of Ikea curtain if anyone knows how big they are? Maybe they would be too big for you? But you are very welcome to come and have a look at them if you would like. edited by pilotsprincess on 25/09/2011

Cream with blackout is exactly what I'm after for DS's room. Do you happen to know the width? And don't worry about VH being too far away. We're in Al Waha so practically Al Ain :D.

I've got quite a few pairs of those 3m IKEA ones if you are interested? Mostly white, but do have a cream pair that have blackout lining on them too. They are just plain, tab top variety. We lived in an apt before that had the biggest windows I'd ever seen, so I know they are the biggest IKEA do. We are in Victory Heights (most people baulk at that as it's deemed too far away!) but if you are interested come and have a look.

IKEA's are all usully 3m...so they should do the trick. We have a shed load of while ones in storage...let me get DH to measure them up and if they are long enough, they are yours. They were 3m, but we shortened them ;-)

Ta. I guess I need to go back there with a little more patience and perseverance! I do need them pretty quickly as we have visitors arriving on Wednesday night and their room has no curtains. Why I didn't get my backside in gear sooner, I have no clue.

There were plenty of plain fabrics when I looked at Dragonmart...fair enough a while ago now! The thing is, the non-bling fabrics are both unpopular and cheap. They don't make money from them so they are hidden. I asked and they brought them all out from behind other fabrics. :)

Thanks all :). I went to Dragon Mart on Friday but they didn't seem to have any plain off-white ones - did I miss a few shops? All I could find were the glitzy, shiny, patterned-to-the-max jazzy ones! I expect the PB ones would be absolutely gorgeous but DH has just had a hernia at the amount a curtain guy from Satwa quoted so methinks that might be out of the question :(. Do any of the Ikea ones have blackout lining?

Hi DC. :D Any of the textiles guys at Dragonmart could have some ready for you on the day if you only need a couple...sometimes within an hour. :) Take your measurements, choose your fabric, be REALLY specific about what you need, go shopping, come back and collect your 'ready made' curtains. :D (for a house-full, you get a better discount if you can wait a couple of days)

Pottery Barn had some very nice plain off-white curtains a few months back and they were very long (not sure of the measurements though). edited by EJC on 25/09/2011

Have you looked at IKEA, I think most of their curtains are 3 meters long and come with everything you'll need to take them up.
