Over the past year the service we have received from a certain bank that shares its name with a major airline in the region has been on a rapid decline and as such we are on the hunt for a new bank. Anybody actually really happy with theirs? Thanks all :)

Banking with ADCB is good experience for me, especially with the [url=http://www.adcb.com/businessbanking/investmentbanking/investment.asp'>investment banking'>[/url'> as their expert team always provide better guidance on investments. You can check the details on their website.

I have been with ADCB for 10 years, I mostly use their personal banking, investment banking and also transfer money using their accounts when it's required. I'm happy with their services and would like to recommend you the same.

Just an update on the level of service that prompted this thread. The bank in question have today finally admitted we were miss-informed on 4 occasions, they have listened to the calls and no question we are out of pocket because of it, however instead of refunding us they want to give us some points on our card that will be worth less than a third of outlay incurred. The final nail for us so the process of moving commences, oh joy!

We like Emirates NBD - fair and accessible. Also ADCB is also a good bank, good access and online banking. I suggest you stay away from HSBC and Citibank here in the gulf. Both are difficult to deal with and Citibank is extremely difficult to access personally now.

I have had an account with ENBD for 4 years and have been very happy with the customer service. I did want to be with an Islamic bank so moved to Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. Just moved a few months ago so can't say much. But so far happy with them, it's just that the ATM and Debit Card can't be used for online payment, but customer service told me that they are working on that with Visa so that should be possible soon. The nice gentleman on the phone had a very nice voice, should have kept him on the phone longer lol...

Recently I set up online banking with EIB, DIB and Nat'l Bonds, and DIB had the nicest, most helpful phone staff :)

Emirates Islamic Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank. I use different banking products/services with each. I prefer the customer service end of DIB, esp since there's a ladies only branch close to my kids school, and deal with them for more frequent stuff.

Hate to say this but we have no problems with HSBC here, mainly because we havn't been into a branch for well over six months. We do everything on line, as it is very secure and any issues we have are dealt with by relationship managers either back in the UK or Jersey. You must be a very lucky lady as i think you must be the only satisfied customer here. Yes and I've probably started something now that will go downhill rapidly you jinxed it If I have I can always blame you ;)

ADCB - very happy Excellent online banking - I can do almost everything online. Responsive customer service in branches - i.e staff are accountable and resolve issues on the spot. Collected loads of skywards miles for using online banking and debit cards etc I left HSBC a few years ago as online banking was cumbersome, main branch in Bur Dubai was painful and staff completely bureaucratic and clueless and they were charging me a monthly account fee for the pleasure!

I maintain ENBD and HSBC premier accounts. Both are good for different reasons, ENBD has good customer service at selected branches. Easy to use online banking. HSBC has superb interest rates for premier, and global transfers are free and a breeze. HSBC premier is also v good at customer service, and good (although very secure online banking) very annoying to use the fob devices to get into online banking.

I bank with CBI. good service and low rates. Actually lowest rates in UAE :) bad side is that they have 3 branches in Dubai only

It is sarahlou123, simple things like who is covered by CC insurance, we had 4 different answers prior to our vacation and in the end they were all incorrect. If you cannot trust their staff with simple matters like this then what hope do we have with bigger issues. They closed our local branch too so its appeal has expired. I don't think CS is a strong point with any of them here :-(
