My LO has clocked up a lot of miles in nearly every position emirates has to offer in business and economy.
At that age I found that he loved to be curled up beside me in a window seat, and I actually slept as I was sure he wouldn't roll out (as opposed to an aisle seat). He especially liked being on the mattress you get given in the footrest box. It was easy to keep dark and he wasn't as easily distracted so he slept, and it was probably more hygienic than the bassinet.
Thanks, the pics would be great. I have just changed my seat to 7K & husband in 8J, which is the same on the other window. Thanks for the advise ladies I really appreciate it!

7a is the best seat ..... Most private and the bassinet doesn't encroach on your seat space as it is next to the seat rather than in front of the seat. Also that's right at the front of the plane so there isn't much traffic going past.
Thanks Redleaf, the link was really helpful!
Do you still have the photos that uniquename emailed?
At the moment I have that seat as well. Have you already flown or is your flight over the summer?
Hi sarahlouise
I asked a similar question a few weeks back and got lots of responses on this thread.

Thanks Ladies.
My son will be 4 months and we have to fly to UK for a Wedding so will only be there for 2 days. We thought we would give business a try since we would be tired from so much travel over such a short time.
Have never done business on A380 so just wanted to check if there was any seats better than others.
Thanks for the window seat advice - Will definitely avoid that!
The business class seats on the A380 are so great it doesn't matter what seat you choose. Flew with my son when he was 8 weeks and had a bassinet seat in business and it was fantastic but to be honest never ended up using the bassinet seat at all, just put my seat into the bed position and layed with him the entire flight...so great!! Enjoy!!
How old is your baby? I travelled when my buba was 2-3 months.
I had the window seat for both my flights but would have preferred the aisle one. With the aisle seat, it is easier to move around if you need to go for a nappy change or just to walk with the baby. I had a tough time trying to get out of the seat and then back in.
The only advantage of a window seat is that it gives you more privacy if you plan to BF the baby on flight. HTH
