Well haven't actually been sick yet, just feeling yucky most of time and hungry too! My tummy is rumbling like I haven't eaten just after I have eaten something!!! My reason for the scan today (6weeks 3 days) is to see if I have twins or not as we did fertility treatment!!! Very nervous but super excited too! Will let you know! Sparkly glad to hear your MS is better :) Least at a 12 week scan you get to see baby nicely! Today all I will see is a little sac I think and hopefully a heartbeat :)

Oh oh Pingu, I really feel for you, MS is the worst! I noticed some of you are getting early scans. My GP mentioned it but said not to worry and to take it easy unless any concerns arise, which they haven't. I kind of wish I had done it now. I have my 12 week scan in about 2 weeks but I feel it's kind of a long time to wait to see the little tadpole! Is that why you all have early scans or is it due to concern? what reasons do you have them for? I am 10 wks tomorrow and haven't told anyone but as I am living with family other than my husband it is becoming a bit difficult to keep it quiet. I sort of wish I had a scan to confirm to me that this is 100% happening so that at least I can start to tell family soon but still feel like i need to wait. And I know it's better if I do but circumstances are not typical whilst living with others. Great news though, my MS is alot better this week again and I *hope* that's it. I still have a little vomit in the morning before breakfast but after that most of the day I feel 'relatively' good- i just snack regularly so I don't run on empty. Still nausea which I hope these preggie pops I am getting today will settle. By the way if you order them from Blush and Bloom they deliver and you can pay cash on delivery. Best thing ever! Nimonemo I was extremely tired a few wks back when the MS was really bad I also fell asleep at work once ;)

I hope you don´t feel too bad during the next days. I´m also 6 weeks and no nausea nor vomit (yet). I had diarrhea for 4 days but now I have stopped drinking hot drinks I feel much better. I almost faint a few times per day. Also, yesterday I was sooo tired that I felt asleep on my desk, at work. Today I´m better, thought. Trying to understand my insurance policy is proving to be a much worse nightmare than pregnancy symptoms! I hope everything goes well in your scan. Fingers crossed for you. Let us know.

Welcome to the new ladies :) My cramps are getting a bit better, although at times it gets pretty sore! Dr says those stretching pains are totally normal although I can't wait for our scan on Tuesday for some reassurance!!! I got such a bad stomach ache last night but high up under my ribs, I can still feel it a bit now...do you think it could be indigestion or something? DH was ready to take me to ER but it subsided, it's not low down where baby is much higher!!!!

Eli1979 I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I am ready to join this thread now too :) Redleaf we are 9 weeks today as well! We had our first scan earlier this week, and all is looking good okay. Still very early, so we have only told immediate family, and very close friends who I would want for support should the unthinkable happen. I definitely have a pot belly by the end of the day (being baby no 2), so I am now trying to hide it. Just crossing my fingers and toes that I manage to demonstrate some self control and not gain the 29kgs I gained last time! Looking forward to sharing this experience with you all! :) :) :) Whoops, my user name has changed, I was trying to remain anonymous and asked for a new name so I could just this thread, but stupidly used my standard email address, and this user name has now replaced my old one... oh well, now I can stay 'mum' till 12 weeks I suppose!! edited by G2 on 03/08/2011

Hi All Very excited to be joining this thread. Today I am 9 weeks along with my second (although this is my 6th pregnancy - have had too many miscarriages). I had a scan last week and saw bubs with a lovely heartbeat. I am currently in Canada for the summer, when I get back I will be 13 weeks already! Nimonemo, I always get some diarrhea - especially in the very early weeks. Eli1979, huge condolences to you.

I have read all the symptoms are common during pregnancy but I have not found diarrhea. I am worry as today it is my second day suffering it and my stomach is cramping a lot. I have even lost the voracious appetite I was having lately. Anybody else feeling the same? Thanks

Dr. told me very clear during my first and only appointment that he recommends not to tell anything to anybody as it is still very early and there are some risks. He was very cautious, which I think it is very realistic but I cannot really stop thinking on his words :( If everything goes well, I will also deliver at City Hospital! you dr. is right.. I had to rush to ER today with cramps and bleeding..no more due March 2012 for me :(((( So sorry to read that. I hope you recover soon and start trying for another one. Bear in mind that nature is very wise and it is better your situation now that having an unhealthy baby in 8 months.

I have had some Pingu. A lot during week 4 to 5 and now just occasionally and it's different to the cramps i felt a few weeks ago. One morning last week I had a very dull ache in my lower tummy on both sides n all around, and it made me feel really yuck. A few twinges and pulls otherwise. Sometimes when I cough i get a sharp pain. Dr palpated my tummy a few days ago and i was quite sensitive on one side. Think it is all the vomiting I have been doing, caused a strain- really struggling with the morning sickness but that's another story. It got better for a few days and I was so happy that it might be easing but it seems to have come back again. :( Congratulations to you all and very sorry to hear about your loss Eli1979 Sparkly I just wanted to comment (but don't want to alarm you in anyway) I had the sharp pain too on one side every now and then and when the Dr would press. Turned out I had a cist the size of a tennis ball. It was ok and I had my baby boy 8 mths later with the cist going away on its own. Maybe get them to check for one when you have your scan. All the very best.

I guess it's water retention and bloating... Yep the Dr told me the same, first visit at 5 weeks I was like 'why are my thighs so big!', Dr said it was the fluid and i think my tummy was the same story. Pretty admirable you're still wearing jeans :) Same here Nimonemo, digestion is sooooo slow. Can't wait to eat normally again edited by sparkly on 31/07/2011

Pingu: regards the cramps, while I was having an scan, Dr. told me that I must have been sore as he could see my corpus luteum formed during ovulation (I am 5 weeks pregnant). As we are still in a very early pregnancy apparently we might be still sore as our period would come.... I hope this helps. Apart from that only thing I have noticed is that my digestions are very slow. Dr. told me very clear during my first and only appointment that he recommends not to tell anything to anybody as it is still very early and there are some risks. Hello again ladies! So happy there are more of us and so far I see all going to deliver @ City ! I haven’t even seen a doctor yet as I am on vacation but have managed to trace the doctor I delivered my first with (dr. Yulia). She is now at Cooper Health and delivers at City also. I am considering seeing her but this clinic does not do direct billing with AXA , only on reimbursement basis which is more of a hassle. I also had the cramping and gaining weight like crazy. I don't know what is it with me and weight during pregnancies :( I gained an insane amount of weight with my first one and although I really watch what I eat , I am active and all but kgs just pile up with the speed of light. I guess it's water retention and bloating but can't fit in my bras already and let's not even talk abt my jeans which are so tight around the belly ..

Oh the nausea...poor you :( I haven't had any yet, just waiting!!!! Are you going to try get something to alleviate it a bit? For sure coughing or sneezing brings on a tummy pain too - it's crazy!

Oh yay - there are more of us! Any of you had any cramps? Wowzers - the pulling, tightening feeling on both sides of my lower tummy has been kinda scary! (I know it's normal as the uterus is expanding) Find myself going to the loo check often - so nervous and can't wait for the first scan to chack if all is ok and also if there is one or two on there as we had fertility treatment and put back 2 eggs!!!!!

Hi Ladies, I'm due March 6th with my first. Couldn't get in with Dr Elsa so I booked with Dr Ibrahim. Will see how that goes, am still thinking of transferring over to Dr Elsa for the 2nd scan but only because I suspect a female Oby/Gyn would be easier for me. Think i might book the 2nd appt with Dr Elsa like you did Eli1979, just to reserve a spot as they go quickly! Eli1979- I was pretty surprised I was showing around 5 weeks too, and now I am 8 weeks and finding it hard to conceal this little secret! All the best to each and every one of you :)

How cool :) :) Nope this is my second too, my first DD is now 4 and we've been TTC for 2 years now! Had to have fertility treatment so a bit nervous for my scan to see if it's one or two!!! I'm going on 9th August to Dr Elsa - you? I delivered my first with Dr. Yulia at City but just found out she left the hospital!! I tried to get an appointment with Dr. Elsa but was told she is fully booked till December???!!! I did ask for an appointment in December though. Meanwhile I will meet Dr. Ibrahim end of august as I am going on vacation in 2 days..Should I call the hospital and nag them into getting an apointment with Dr. Elsa earlier? How did you manage to get one so soon?
