Have I got a faulty family book and also a faulty fine ding book !!!!!

My favoutite places are missing i.e family book is missing carlucio's, baker and spice, scoozi etc
Fine dining is missing belgian beer cafe, lattitude etc.

yeah i am gutted, half of JBR's stuff is out. i wonder what will b left next yr. For those who r gutted bout Zyng, i think thry r stii running the buy one get 1 free on tuesdays at batutta mall with the tuesday card. could b wrong though but worth checking out. and why did the price go up? maybe some1 from entertainer can reply? must say though, if u use aquaventure and one other food voucher u r at least square. wow thanks for the tip, I will check with Zyng! we dine there every two weeks!

Yes there were some of my favourites missing in it, but there are quite a lot of new ones in it I thought especially in Midrif City Centre; my new favourite mall, last year it was only one or two in it. I was not impressed with the fine dining this year don't think I'll bother. Bought the kids one last year as well, but will give it a miss this year.

I don't use many of the other vouchers and swapped a load of them for some Fine Dining vouchers. Friend with the Fine Dining book is not buying it this year so if anybody wants to swap let me know - I never use the Aquaventure vouchers for a start. I'm just pleased with their new additions! Not sure why the price went up, makes sense to assume it's because there are so many new outlets in there! Never happy about price increases but must say I purchased the book last week and already saved more than the cover price so I'm a happy bunny so far! What's this Costa deal - coffee and a cake for 15? Woah!

They've stopped the tuesday card at Ibn battuta:-( we liked the costa deal of coffee and a cake for 15dh. I think you can still get one cinema ticket free with the card. I emailed the marketing people at the mall and they said they are looking at a new scheme.

This year there are vouchers for the ice skating at dubai mall and the aquarium as well. That's a pretty good saving.

We buy it mainly for Wild Wadi, desert safari for visitors and Ski Dubai - I'm pleased as this year's has two slope pass vouchers instead of one. Last year we also used it for a Seawings flight so saved 1250 dirhams straight off. I don't use many of the other vouchers and swapped a load of them for some Fine Dining vouchers. Friend with the Fine Dining book is not buying it this year so if anybody wants to swap let me know - I never use the Aquaventure vouchers for a start.

if you subscribe to the national for 300 you get choice of book free, we got the family book so we saved 50 dirhams and we get the paper for a whole year, me thinks a bit of a good deal, yes stuff is missing but plenty of new places to try and waterparks are still there so still worth it.

Restaurants, particularly new ones, use the entertainer as a marketing tool and once they've become established they don't need to offer specials to get customers. I wish there were more vouchers for beverages as a lot of cafes offer a main course when often all you want there is a coffee. Last year one of the new chocolate cafes was offering a main menu item when you'd only really go there for the desert. I also wish there were more vouchers for BEVERAGES - but it's not coffee I'm thinking of...ha ha see my username for example.

not bothering this year. Each I year I feel compelled to get the wrteched thing and only use the kids stuff in it over hte summer (magic planet etc) and the rest stays in the book Plus this year its 350 dhs. Think we will find other ways to entertain ourselves this year!
