Fretty - fab, you have mail! Amalzd - It kind of depends where you're living and whether or not you drive? Sundays i take my DS to a playgroup in the Greens, Mondays i take him to the Jebel Ali playgroup or the group at mini monsters, Tuesdays we go to a music class in the Lakes in the mornings and then meet with friends we've made with similar age little ones tues aft, and or weds. Thurs we rest! Have been here a few years though so let me know where you are and i'll try and suggest specific groups for you. well, we live in silicon oasis, and yes i do drive. i have two kids he is 2.5 years and the little girl is 14 weeks. he is not ready yet for nursery we tried last term and he went into a depression, so we'll be waiting till he gets 3yrs. but from now till then i need to get him out to enjoy some time and meet kids of similar age, mom needs meetings too ;) . would love to hear some ideas :D

You dont them off at a play area you either leave them in their stroller to sleep or the playmats are in the corner of the fitness studio so that you keep an eye on them yourself whilstworking out. I started taking my DD at 8 weeks and she either slept through the whole thing or was quite happy to watch mummy jumping about like a lunatic. In between songs i would go over and see her now she prefers to play with all the other babies at 8 months. All the other mums do the same and if the kids wont settle then you can adapt the excercise to hold the baby and do it at the same time.
