Sanddy, its the one signed from RAK helio on the left Hamriya on the right. So before the Ajman city centre turn but after the UAQ one! Does that make sense????

Yeah not very Arabic we always say it in a Mexican accent! It's quite a nice little village very country, lots of winding roads and even some hills. But I guess being from RAK hills don't impress you much!! Dh works in Hamriya so drives through Helio to get to the bypass road. Desert side <em>edited by Laura2 on 07/10/2011</em>

emirates road from Dubai to RAK on the right hand side it's a very green looking village on the Ajman / UAQ border. Before the portacabin on it's side! Now that's some good directions!!

Missed us too in Al Refa'a but friends out to sea a little further north had a shower. DD is camping out on a reserve and saw lightning, I'm presuming out to sea.

DH called the Dubai shipping forecast thingy....the rain/thunder that is expected is in the interior/near Hajar mountains etc.... and it's only a chance of rain. but it looks pretty cloudy in that direction....

BBC Weather website also says heavy rain and storms expected today. However, check back in an hour and it'll all be changed. Don't want to set myself up for disappointment, as would love a downpour to freshen everything up!

It does not look like it at the moment where I am, anyone see rain clouds? Was planning a trip, not sure now. edited to update-so its only expected to rain in the Hajar Mountins, well why on earth did they say Dubai would have heavy rain & T storms. (obviously these weather forcasters cannot differentiate between Dubai and the Hajar Mountains! There are only about 200 kilometers apart!) <em>edited by Di@DXB on 07/10/2011</em>
