I am sure it has already been answered many times but somehow didn't find the answer online...I have a 3 y.o. son for which I have to renew the Visa. Will he need to do a blood test? For the ID, does he needs to have the finger prints scanned? I also need to do the ID card for his sister (1 y.o), does she needs to have the finger prints scanned? Thanks for your help!

For kids renewing visa, no medical tests is required until the age of 12, ditto with UAE ID card, no fingerprinting or even taking photo in EIDA offices. Just bring his passport with renewed visa in one of the typing centers (check EIDA website for legit ones) and a passport photograph (they will scan it), pay the fees and that's it...wait until you get an SMS to claim the ID my kids are over 12 and they have never had to do any tests for the renewal of visas, and we have had a few over the 15 years!

Hi there I just did the ID card for my 2 yo DS, no prints or anything necessary (for all children under 15y), he does not have to be there at all during the process, you do however need his passport, visa and picture. Regarding your other questions I'm not sure but I don't think kids that small must do any tests.
