At first I said no to a pool table, but then I thought he works so hard, he deserves it.

Now it is installed, I find that the bar and pool table fit in the room, we just can't sit at the bar and the boys play pool as they have to poke those 5' pool cues out at all angles.

Has anyone extended their room out to the patio pillars? Who did you use, how much did it cost?

Thanks in advance ladies

I looked at pool tables in Intersport in Times Square and they had a catalogue that you could select from.

I am trying to buy a pool table but the only shop I can find is KS, could you let me know where you got yours? Good luck with the extension ;)

Yes, it sure is. But he did say that if its too expensive, and something has to go, it will be the pool table. We really enjoy socialising around our bar. So it could be the most expensive pool table that never was.

Hi ShellFC, There was a similar post on here a few days ago. We've used a great South African guy for alot of our building work including refitting our kitchen, knocking rooms through and rebuilding walls, ripping out and refitting some of our bathrooms, building outdoor structures etc. He's always been really easy to work with, has done a professional job and his team of guys cover everything from masonry to carpentry and electrics etc. Try giving him a call - you might at least be able to get a more accurate idea of how much your hubbies new pool table is going to cost you!
