Hi ladies,
I am trying to organize a holiday for our family in a couple of weeks. Can you recommend a child-friendly hotel (central if possible) that can accomodate all of us in 1 room (2 adults, 1 baby 8 months and 1 toddler almost 3 years old). Thanks in advance ladies

Think that speens is spot on, any problems are localised and most likely one offs. Our next trip will (hopefully) be to the marina bay sands, don't know how child friendly that will be and we don't plan on taking ours. The Hard Rock hotel must be open by now and my two both want to head for there at some point, but they are much older than yours.

well just to confuse the issue even further, my DH came back from the mandarin two weeks ago and said it was a dump. We have in the past stayed as a family at the sentosa shangri la and loved it.

Check out tripadvisor.com we stayed at the Rasa Sentosa Shangrila and it was FILTHY....so so so bad....I had to get on the floor with dettol wipes and try to santisize the place....I gave up in the end. Location is excellent, pool is great, breakfast is MAYHEM with animals running around the restaurant, BUT they have a shuttle bus that runs into the Harbour centre every 20 mins......shame about the dirty rooms. If you can live with it, then all other things are great. Just make sure they are not doing a concert on the beach during your stay....

Hi mommyjulz thanks for your reply. Could you stay as a family with kids in one room? Thanks!

Sometimes works better when travelling with a family if you send off an e-mail directly to the reservations department at the hotel, requesting a baby bassinet and then the other child can share your bed or you could request an extra bed which they may or may not agree to depending on the size of the room. Anyhow, spent a few nights with three small children in Singapore a few years ago and we stayed at Lanson Place which is hotel apartments so you get a kitchen and a living room and then they have 1 bedroom and 2 bedrooms and so on, so it's comfortable for a family, price was fine too and service was excellent. http://www.lansonplace.com/sg_residences.php

Fairmont. Its attached to a mall and the MRT. Great location and good prices on Agoda if booked in advance.

Thanks Barbie! I will def. call DNATA, but in the meantime, I went already online and saw a few offers, although most of the time, when I want to see the avail./rates of the hotels mentioned on DNATA, I cannot enter 2 adults and 2 children in only 1 room (and obviously, we want to share only one room cause the kids are young). Did you travel to Singapore? Where did you stay? Thanks again

Hi there, you could call Dnata at 8008118 and the staff there are very helpful with suggestions. I travelled with my two young ones and was very happy with my room arrangements that Dnata made for us.
