YES, headache from h-e-double-hockeysticks! Do you have upper abdomen pain? VERY loud and grumbly tummy? If I hadn't had my gall bladder out already, I would have thought it was that. Yup grumbly, keep running to the bathroom. I'm going to bed - blurgh

I'm so glad this got bumped up, I wanted to search for it and could not remember key words. I have been suffering from this since the middle of the night last night. Terrible pain in the upper abdomen! Awful gas to accompany it. And the rest that Jansul so eloquently put. Hope it's over very soon. Within 24 hours you should be fine once 'it' starts. Abdominal pains lasted nearly 2 days before the erm problems....hope you feel better soon x Oh don't say that. I've been feeling sick since lunchtime and steadily going downhill. My stomach is not in a good way and I have a pounding headache, sore throat and feel generally rancid.

A couple of people have been ill at work. I so wish they wouldn't come in sick as it goes round like wildfire.

Thanks G! All better now. We all had a much better night and woke up smiling. It looks like the baby has escaped it which I'm very thankful for and it was indeed just a 24 hour thing. Off to catch up on all my jobs that I avoided yesterday now........... :)

Oh Jane, I'm sorry to hear you're miserable. :( I did however read the title of the thread and think, "When is a gastro bug/chickenpox/measles/scarlet fever etc etc not going around Dubai?" ;) I hope you are feeling 100% very soon and that the little ones don't suffer too much. xx

That school presently has Chicken pox, Strep throat, flu and gastro going around it. Starting to question hygiene, swimming pool cleanliness, [b'>parent brain capacity[/b'>. edited by Sticky Wicket on 14/03/2011 Erm, thanks SW, talk about kicking a dog when it's down, really needed that today. Not you! You dopey mare! All the parents who send their kids in sick (and know it) or employ maids and never see their children! Ok then, as you were :D Although I do feel like a large portion of my brain has fallen out of a nether region today! TMI
