Looking at Emirates International School and Dubai British SChool also. Our kids have been at Dubai British School for past 4 years and we are very happy with it - nice school, good staff, highly rated in the KHDA tables.

There's no way I'd drive from Springs/Meadows to Mirdif everyday - it's a long long way. You would be far better looking at The Villa, Silicon Oasis, Falcon City, Arabian Ranches, Green Community at Motor City and Victory Heights - much easier run down the Emirates Road. If it was me I'd be seriously looking at The Villa as the journey will only be 15/20 minutes and they are gorgeous villas and a new community.

If your kids are going to Royal Dubai, you should also look at Arabian Ranches, The Villa and Silicon Oasis for accommodation as they are all on Emirates Rd and it is very easy access to Mirdif from there.

thanks everyone for answering my questions. We are also thinking about Mirdif but are concerned about aircraft noise. The SPrings looks nice, there just seems to be a big difference of opinion about it. Obviously we have to check schools have places also as already have places for two of our children at Royal Dubai, we just wanted to ensure we had checked all areas for accommodation. DOes anyone think it is too far to drive from The SPrings to a school in Mirdif? Looking at Emirates International School and Dubai British SChool also. Thanks guys. Nice that evryone been in the asme boat at sometime.

Jumeirah Village, not great, lots of troubles with the villas, far out. Springs and Meadows good for familys. Jumeirah Islands is nice, bigger nicer villas, depends on your budget Not always bigger, depends the Villas. Small pools in Jumeirah Island but they have free tennis courts..

WE are shortly moving to Dubai over the Summer. We know parts of it quite well but not Emirates Hills area. DOes anyone know if it is a good place to live, ? Either The SPrings or The Meadows?? ALso there is a new place being built, Jumeriah Village any of you know or heard any thing about it?? ANy help much appreciated, thank you
