Hi there. I sometimes off my daughter at Creche Out in Wafi. Realize it's not in the New Dubai area but here's my two cents for what it's worth. They are absolutely amazing!! I would most certainly recommend them. Prices start from 60 per hour but if you buy for the month it can go to as less as 30 per hour. No brainer! :) What a FANTASTIC idea! Curious if they have any others like this is Dubai that are open past 7pm for dinner nights with DH. Fyi to others: This is 3 hours max drop-in care so not a nursery per say. If any others on the forum know of places like this please post!

Found a nursery in Umm Suqueim called adventure kids nursery after we came back from Summer for my child for 2 weeks, and I really do recommend them. Very homely feel, and all the staff are so warm and friendly..They charge a fraction of what the others take for day care/drop off, but I was reminded that kids only need a place they will be happy and well looked after. Its not as blingy as many nurseries in the new Dubai area but my daughter was really happy there and a few times I was late (including having to wait for police after someone scraped my car), they completely understood, didn't fuss and call me after every 5 minutes...e.t.c..infact I was the one calling them to keep them updated. I'm hoping this will help many ladies who need help with where to put kids esp. for a few hours as I struggled with this and the costs being so high around here. Please admin, its not paid or even solicited for, just done out of my own free will for the excellent care received, and hoping it will help someone somewhere...

I am new to Dubai and looking to find childcare for house hunting. How do I find a babysitter service? Or childcare?

Fun and play nursery in JBR does drop off! My daughter loves it. Do they take babies at 10 months? Kidville?

Did you check if you can leave your child by the hour at Le Petit Poucet? I've been hearing a lot about it

I'm researching this now for myself, so this is what I've got so far: Hummingbird nursery (under 2) #04-370-0449 and preschool (2 and older) #04-379-9800 in DIFC do offer casual (drop-off) rates of 80dh/hour and they operate from 7am-7pm. Quite high for 4 hours of babysitting (320dh), which is essentially what I'm looking for... so the search continues. KiddyPlanet in Umm Suqeim (15-20 min drive, since their Quoz location doesn't allow drop-ins) offers drop-in at 40dh/hr or 120 for the day 8am-1pm.

Does anyone know of any nurseries that take toddlers on an hourly basis in the "new Dubai" areas? Sometimes I have to run a few errands and don't want to drag DS along. I would prefer to stick with the same nursery each time so there is some continuity. TIA! Kidville in JBR do daycare, not sure of the minimum hours, but you can try a free session to see if you like it. http://www.kidville.com/ae/nursery
