Need some advice please ladies. My Australian based Iranian mother-in-law has just been given the green light to go to Iran and it will be her first visit in a VERY long time. She is currently visiting with us and we need to get her decked out in appropriate clothing. Where in UAE do you get the long jackets that the ladies wear there (preferably from a chain store as we are Abu Dhabi based, but posted here due to more readers) and how long do they need to respectfully be? What is appropriate foot wear? Thanks in advance.

Hi SJAussie, My husbands auntie is here and she got some lovely long coats (mantoes) from Splash yesterday (MoE). I was about to suggest the same place. Long rain coats are also suitable for this time pf the year since it is a little chilled in Iran ( I was there last week ) What size does she wear ? Maybe I she can borrow mine. Let me know .

No, open top, open is fine. No bright red toe nails sticking out though! Lol! Although she will really be ok considering her age again. Banana republic, next, debenhams, marks and spencers, bhs.

Considering her age, no jeans as bottoms. Knee length coat/jacket/kaftan. Available at any store really. All footwear options are ok. HTH Thanks Irooni - was hoping that you would respond. What do you mean by "Any store" for the jacket?? Some examples please as I have never had to buy a long-coverup jacket like this and have no idea where to go. We also have only limited days before she leaves so don't want to rush all over town. As for footwear, all ok? Do they have to closed toe/top etc? Thanks for help. :)
