We're just back from Port Rashid Police station they are open 24/7 and accept PCC applications at any time. DH downloaded the application form from the Dubai Police website, filled it out manually and we took it to Satwa yesterday to have it typed in Arabic. After three attempts - its amazing how many different and incorrect ways a 5 letter surname can be spelt - it was done, AED20. As Dubaistar says, take passport and copy, photos to the police station along with the completed form. DH has already had his fingerprints taken for his Emirates ID so they didn't need to be redone. It'll be ready in 3 days.

Although you can get your police clearance at Port Rashid (right next to dry docks) I would go straight to the main CID place (police headquarters) near Al Mullah Plaza - they have a special counter for this and it's all very quick. Take passport plus copies, plus photos. For fingerprinting there is a separate ladies queue too which speeds up the process considerably. Parking is a nightmare though :(

Do you mean Port Rashid Jail? Yes there is one in this area. It's the police station I need. I have to get a CID check done for a new job. I've tried calling several police stations to see if they can help but end up being passed around loads of different people, none of which can help!!!! Then you need Bur Dubai police station i think for CID clearance. Oh no!!! That was one of the stations I called. Thanks for your help!!!!
