Hi Everyone,
Pls can you help. My friend has just moved here and is in the midst of trying to find a villa to rent. Her children are going to Jebel Ali primary and her DH is working in abu dhabi. Her budget would only lend itself to renting a 3 bed villa and she is unsure where to live.
Where would you suggest? So far she has only been looking at arabian ranches: Alma/saheel & Palmera....but should she look at springs/meadows/lakes???? if so why??
Hope you can help her. Thanks xx

Suzy Duzy and Dragon are spot on - the Green Community has lovely villas and I think at v reasonable prices compared to the others you mention and much closer to Abu Dhabi and JA Primary school.

Agree w/ SuzyDuzy, why don't you try Green Community? Friend is sending her DD to Jebel Ali primary school in Sept so not a bad commute for her and if DH is working in AD then make sense to be down that end. Not sure if there are houses in The Gardens behind Ibn Battuta.

Why don't you try Victory Heights or Green Community, and/or Motor City - all based on Emirates Rd and would be easy access to school and work. Plus cheaper than AR, Meadows & Lakes! What is her budget? 4 bdrm in Motor City Triplex around 190K.

Have they tried the Al Muntazah villas just next to JAPS? Lovely houses and community.

I am not sure if there are any three bedrooms available in the Meadows and prices in the Lakes can be higher than the Springs so it would depend on the budget. I live in Arabian Ranches and love it here but the Lakes is also nice. Some areas of the Springs are okay but the construction of the new road and traffic problems would put me off. Sorry I don't know where Jebel Ali Primary is so cannot comment on the commute but I would say Arabian Ranches would be a suitable location for traveling to Abu Dhabi, especially with the Bypass road. Arabian Ranches is a great community, well established with no construction. Access in and out is quite good and it's quite a central location with shops, restaurants, medical center and golf club so you don't need to travel far if you don't want to.
