There are some really good online sources of information. I looked into getting chooks while in the UAE but never got around to it. This site is Australian, but very, very useful and the people who contribute on the forum are incredibly helpful. You might find all you need here... http://forum.backyardpoultry.com/ There are a few produce places around where you could find the right feed...head out of town towards Al Awir or Al Ain and just about all of the small villages have a produce store. Can't say how difficult the language barrier might be though!

Anyone out there experience with poultry? We have 2 hens inherited from a friend who went home and 3 chicks. I am worried that we don't have chick crumbs to feed the little ones. Anyone know where I could get it? Or generally advice about my feathered friends?
