Can you suggest hotel/apartment companies for a 1 or 2 bed serviced apartment, around either the Marina or the Greens - is there deals to be had? don't want to spend any more than 7- 7.5k per month and would probably only need it for 1 month only. Thank you.

Hi I dont want to be negative, but on a budget of 7/7500 you wont find a 2 bed and most nice one beds are 8000 plus in JLT and 10000 plus around the marina, all the buildings named are way over your budget. Sorry I looked a few months ago and pay 9000 for a big one bed in Liwa Heights in JLT. It hotel apartments. alot of 1 bed units are tiny. Maybe look on dubizzle at short term lets and you may get lucky and find something in Tecom, discovery gardens, or Al Barsha within your budget. Good luck with your search!

Tamani Hotel and the Marriott (near the Westin), one of the Shams towers (think it's no. 1 or 2) in JBR, also Sadaf (Suha ?) in JBR, or the Bonnington on JLT all have serviced apartments. Sorry, no idea of what they charge. You could also try mydubaistay on the net. Have heard that the Fraser Suites are excellent.

The Gloria and Grand Mid West are on the SZR in Media City. You should be able to get a 1 bed for a month with your budget. Google hotels.com or expedia and select the dates you want and I think some serviced apartment options will come up too.
