Go dune bashing in the Liwa desert; Take a guided tour of the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi; Visit the Emirates Palace Hotel whilst you're in AD (go and look at the Christmas Tree in the lobby, entry is free, not like at the Burj Al Arab!); Afternoon tea at the Madinat; Blue souq in Sharjah; Bastakiya and Shindagha (Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House has wonderful photos of "early" Dubai); The Oasis at Al Ain; Apparently, the Gold & Diamond Park on SZR is worth a visit and a purchase if you like jewellery. Have a great time :)
