My screen resolution settings seem to have changed themselves every night for the past week or so. I have no idea how or why. This has occasionally happened to me before on this laptop, but not with such great regularity. No other pages apart from the HSBC front page are affected. Bizarre!

Hey there :) Have you changed any of your resolution settings? It sounds as if the the page is too large for your screen? Can you scroll across? Or, you can 'zoom in' with the page" Firefox/View/Zoom... let me know if this helps...

Thank you all for your help. I don't seem to have a compatibility view button anywhere in my toolbar. Never mind, I'll get there somehow!

In Firefox, in the very top row, to the right of where you typed in www.hsbc.ae you should see a magnifying class, which is the search button and then to the right of that you should see a little arrow facing down, directly after that is a blue page which is torn through the middle, that is compatibility view, click on it once. If that doesn't work, sorry but I have no idea. Best of luck

It is fine from my laptop. I get the same view with Internet Explorer or Firefox: Online banking Log on Register Have you tried clicking on the compatibility view tab (looks like a torn piece of paper at the end row on the top line of the page) It works in Internet Explorer, but in FF, I still don't get the whole of that page horizontally. It worked a few days ago, though. Pah. I don't see anything resembling a compatibility view tab anywhere - should that be in FF or on the HSBC page. please?

Much more interested in the CB and GB goss, but anyway, have nothing to offer there! Could someone kindly check the front page of HSBC dot ae and see if in the top left hand corner, there is a possibility for you to log in securely? Instead of the usual access to sign in, all I'm seeing is a closed padlock and On, with the rest of the page which should be there cut off. I've been trying to find a number to call about this, but everything I ring is engaged and I'm told to call back. Just wondered if it was a specific problem in my browser, or more general. I'm using Firefox 3.6.22. Thanks for any help. edited by simpleasabc on 26/09/2011
