Glad to hear you enjoyed it and had a nice evening, yes definitely try the butter chicken and rib eye next time. Can't wait to take some visitors there. It was nice to sit outside afterwards and have a drink.

Well! We loved Amala. It was truly a wonderful experience on all levels. Service was attentive but not intrusive and having had to wait a while for our booked table, we were not charged for the drinks we had in the bar beforehand. Then, the food. Sort of lost for words. Highlights were the scallop entree, tandoori prawn, lamb chops, prawn curry and kulfi. Everything else was delicious too. The wine list is fair with a wide range of prices and regions covered and the decor and atmosphere were calming and beautiful. Will definitely return and can't wait to try the butter chicken and ribeye dish. Bill a little under 700 with bottle of wine and water which I thought was surprising bearing in mind the standard. Enjoy.

For Italian Food i recommend Casa Mia, Le Meridien Airport. I have been to Amala and the food was ok but nothing special. I know some other restaurants in Karama, which are serving better Indian food. My husband is of Indian background and loved Amala,we were recommended it by other Indian friends too. Yes, Karama and Bur Dubai has great Indian food but mistryb I believe wanted somewhere nice for a special occasion and this is one that fits the bill!

Amala Indian restaurant zabeel saray on the palm, gorgeous hotel amazing food and fantastic service. All you can eat a' la carte Indian for 255 dirhams might pay to book however. This price includes angus beef on the menu and desert.
