laser hair removal - how many sessions?

I know this will vary from person to person but has anyone had laser hair removal on bikini line? And if so how many sessions were required? I keep seeing discount offers for 1 session and it says that multiple sessions will be required but I have no idea how many and therefore whether it is worth doing or if it would end up costing a fortune?

Kelly1814 is right I spent so much money to get my legs, arms, underarms done, 6-10 sessions normally (it depends) on each individual for 4 years it was great no shaving, waxing etc. But got pregnant year ago, 3-4 months into pregnancy the hair started to appear.....now it's like I never had laser, hair is little lighter then before but still it's all there........:(

just as an interesting aside, my friend paid a fortune to have her whole body done....was hair free for years - then when she got pregnant...it all grew back! something to do with crazy pregnancy hormones.

I'd wait to see if you can get a half price deal....if you can get that here ( I'm still fairly new here!) Then pay for 6 sessions up front.... I know www.lacontourspa.com were doing an offer last month, you'll have to call them to see if they'll offer it you for this month. I've had 6 sessions on my arms, legs and upper lip & I think another 2 will do the trick. Also, some people need yearly top-ups after they have completed their sessions.....depends on the person.

i had my bikini line done back in the uk about 5 or 6 years ago. i had to have a LOT of sessions, i think about 12. i paid about 500 quid way back when. i'm not that dark hence it taking longer. i still think it's worth it as i always reacted really badly to waxing - bleeding, blood bruises - i have very sensitive skin!

I heard it is usually around 6 but depends on each person Thanks! It would be great to never have to bother with waxing again but I guess it could end up quite expensive. The offer I saw today was AED 333 for a session so even with 6 of the vouchers it would be 2k - that's the price of quite a lot of waxing sessions! Another poster had put a thread about how much in the long run she'd saved from laser by not having to wax. Also imagine the time you save and the fact that you'd have minimal hair growth so no more in-between growing! I think its worth it, I just haven't gotten around to doing it myself :) True I guess - I can't remember how much I pay for waxing because I have other things at the same time but is it around 50 dirhams? If so then that is 600 per year so you would make the 2000 back after 3½ years. It just sounds like a lot to pay out upfront.
