Driving experience, made me realize how lucky I am!
I normally drive a Land Rover, well Range Rover Sport actually and this week it went belly up on the school run, the only car I could hire was a 2004 Mitsibushi Lancer (not silver thank goodness!) and I tell you what, what a difference it makes the way people on the road treat you. They roar up behind you, intimidate you, flash you (because with air con on you really can't go very fast!), and this was all just the other mums!
I am sure I have done the same myself, and this has been a real life lesson, I even joked to the rental agent when I returned it today, everyone should have to drive a small car for a week to see just how blinking intimidating the cars on the road are.
I have been up and down emirates road to work and back, school run and back, and I tell you I was amazed by how different the experience was. I will show a lot more consideration in the future and just thought I would mention it here, I hope you never have to have your rear differential collapse on the 311 to realize it!
