Why not? Maybe just not announced yet? There should be?

I have seen a official notice that from Sat 26/11 at 5.00pm until Sun 27/11 at 6.30pm there will be no alcohol to be served or parties to be held. That may mean that Sun 27th is a holiday then! It is at our office except I still have to work as I'm off to Doha for a work visit and there isn't a public holiday there!! :(

Do combined hotel bar/restaurants close then or just not serve alcohol with your meal? Restaurants will be open but no alcohol will be served. Good - my boss is over from UK and wanted to meet him for a meal in one of the restaurants (which also has a bar) at Amwaj Rotana for a good networking session! :)

Strange - on the AD Executive Council website it is listed as 7 December (subject to moon sighting) - but is it being reported elsewhere as falling on 26 November?

So if it's dry the day before, does that mean the 25th is dry? I hope not as have a night out planned! :)
