I'm new to Pilates- been going about 6weeks at exhale motor city. I love Sandra's classes. I feel 2inches taller after! However, does anyone know if she has left? Her name is not featured on the march schedule and I recall she mentioned maybe setting up her own studio.
If you would consider Yoga as an alternative (which I believe Pilates originated from amongst other things) there is a fantastic yoga teacher, Fran, who does sessions at Exhale and also at Optimal Fitness at Studio City.

Hi, I've tried the mat Pilates there with all the instructors and like Susanna the best, Sandra is also very good.
I was also advised by one of the instructors there, that you need to have practised pilates for atleast a year before you start doing the reformer as its is easy to cheat in the machines and you could end up hurting your back.
