Am looking for Pilates classess in this part of town too - and was before with Exhale but didn't find the Pilates mat as statisfying as reformer. But reformer for 100/- a session? really? oh and looks like Sandra is out of there: http://motionfitnesscenter.com/?page_id=58 She was GOOD! I liked all classes he attended! Fantastic! Thanks for posting. I've been wondering where to find her since she left Exhale! Loved her classes

I'm new to Pilates- been going about 6weeks at exhale motor city. I love Sandra's classes. I feel 2inches taller after! However, does anyone know if she has left? Her name is not featured on the march schedule and I recall she mentioned maybe setting up her own studio.

Thanks for your responses. Yes, I'll definitely give yoga a try. My back is so sore and achy I feel like an old lady!

If you would consider Yoga as an alternative (which I believe Pilates originated from amongst other things) there is a fantastic yoga teacher, Fran, who does sessions at Exhale and also at Optimal Fitness at Studio City. Yep!! I second her specially for people starting out!!

Hi, I've tried the mat Pilates there with all the instructors and like Susanna the best, Sandra is also very good. I was also advised by one of the instructors there, that you need to have practised pilates for atleast a year before you start doing the reformer as its is easy to cheat in the machines and you could end up hurting your back. Here's the schedule for your easy reference. http://www.exhaledubai.com/motorcity/images/schedule.pdf

Hi, I'm looking for some feedback on these classes - both mat & reformer please. I've hurt my back and been advised to try Pilates to strengthen it. Thanks
