Curtain questions re Dragon Mart - sorry but important

I need to purchase curtains for a number of windows and am looking at dragon mart. I have found a few styles I like which range from 80 to 120 per panel. My questions:

1) How much could I reasonably expect to negotiate off their first price mentioned;
2) Does anyone have any opinions on the "rings" vs. "pinch pleats", and is it per ring etc.
3) Does the above price quoted on per panel include the making charge.

Thanks so much in advance.

If you haven't talked about whether to do rings or pleats, then the quoted price is likely just for the fabric panel itself. The ring styles of course are cheaper, as less fabric is needed, it will give you the waves look when opened. If I remember correctly, the rings are extra and they need to know how many rings you want to put on per panel and what type of rings ie plastic vs chromes etc. and then factor in the labor charge. Better yet, ask them again :) In my experience as well, they don't bargain much, they might knock off a few dhs more if you can speak Chinese :D The best way to bargain and know how much you can ask for discount is to shop around the mart and use them as your leverage.

Not sure what you mean by rings. Are these rings from which the curtains hang or eyelet, in which case the ring, like a shower curtain, is on the fabric. Eyelet is expensive because the rings cost and it needs a lot of fabric. It is easier to open and close than pinch pleats as well as easier to maintain (no pleats opening, etc). My experience at DragonMart recently has been that they don't bargain a lot - maybe 10-15% off original asking. Frankly, fabrics in Satwa can be equally reasonable.
