Hello Ladies,I've recently seen a new laundry detergent (Tide) in Carrefour with a baby face in the front. I only assume that it is sensitive or non-bio because the whole text is in arabic. It's a lot cheaper than Fairy or Purex so I'd opt for it if I knew it really is for baby clothes. Any idea?
Kiwispiers, I still look for the Carrefour one you recommended once, but it seems it is only available in Doha. :-)

In Safestway: http://yp.theemiratesnetwork.com/map/United_Arab_Emirates/Dubai/New_Safestway_16711.html It's very close to the Business Bay metro stop on sheikh zayed

Chi2dxb, where can you get that one? Kiwispiers, actually, I have those nuts, bought them ages ago. I was just not confident enough to use them to wash my husbands's shirts.. My friends said she had some stains on her white trousers. Did anyone have any bad experience with soap nuts? (maybe I should start a new thread :-))

If you looking for fragrance free and dye free, Safestway has an Arm & Hammer liquid detergent.

you could look into using soap nuts, I've never used them myself and I'm not sure how they go for sensitive skin but I know a lot of people on the UAE natural family living network (facebook group recommend them and thy are a cheap, natural option. Keep an eye out for the C4 non bio though, there is none in Doha at the moment, I think the ship needs to come in!

Thanks Kiwispiers, I thought vinegar is only for softening the clothes, but it's even better. I stopped using bio detergent as I realised that the non bio is even better for my husband's sensitive skin as well as our DD's. I'm only trying to find a cheaper solution. :-)

if you can't find a non bio then you can at least add vinegar to your rinse cycle (put it where you would put fabric conditioner) it helps remove detergent residue from your clothes.
